Mathias Garnitschnig
As a traditionally trained sculptor, Mathias Garnitschnig’s (b.1979) artworks are defined by a sensitive play between form, and material. The perfectionist approach to shape, and the skillful handling of texture lets us witness an artistic process that redefines the dialectics of creative impetus and artistic idea. With the inseparable qualities of a craftsman and artist, Mathias Garnitschnig makes the sculpture itself the very own reason for its aesthetic vibrancy.
